For 5...13 seconds, you attack 33% faster but move 33% slower..

Duration 5
Adrenaline Cost: 4

Could this be the new replacement for Tigers Fury as a Barrage skill? Tigers Fury lasts 9seconds w/ 9 in Beast Mastery having a 1 second downtime. Flail is Strength based so you obviously can't boost it, but with an adren cost it should be possible to recharge this skill in a single Barrage, never mind the next 1-3 you could get while still attacking 33% faster. Could also be an effective Paragon or Assassin IAS imo.

I could see this as being a very good stance for a barrage ranger. If they don't nerf this with a 50% failure with 4 strength or less like requirement, this may make this skill a must have for B/P groups.

I like it! I really hope they don't add the strength requirement. That'd be a near permenant IAS. With a Hornbow, you'd be mowing down mobs.

Depends how overused it gets maybe... i don't really see any reason why it'd need a failure notice anyway. Its not exactly Oath Shot style is it.

No, it's too kitable for being used by thumpers.

Il could be used in conjunction with a running skill like Rush but it would be a little bit tricky...

Rush? Flail is a stance :S It'd work with Charge or Windbourne Speed, but again they're too awkward. It'd be a brilliant PvE skill.

The thing is though when using an IAS like Frenzy (warrior perspective)... if your target starts kiting you can't actually catch upto them anyway because they move at the exact same speed.

Same goes for Thumpers, when the target starts kiting your can't catch them anyway. So it may be useful for more experienced thumpers. The main problem is that with it been an adren skill it'd need you to hit once more before you could activate Hammer Bash (or the evis/exec combo) but if your target can't move, such as they're knocked down (Shock or Hammer Bash) or are casting, crippled or stuck in a ward against foes and various other things, the 33% attack speed would be brilliant if they start fleeing theres nothing stopping you from activating Rush/Sprint as a warrior to chase them down as normal, if your a thumper theres nothing you could do about it in the first place so nothing changed. The problem would be that a Thumper could keep Tigers Fury up near permanently, this would be more spike aid.

I know Rush would cancel Flail, in fact it would be its purpose. As you say when a target kites there's no way an IAS could be effective, so better switch to a running stance instead. Anyway I don't think even Windborne Speed would make a Flail stanced thumper run even at normal speed, so I fear stance switching would be the only way to go. It would be the same of Frenzy/Rush, but less dangerous.
